For the 17th consecutive year, Anthony Wayne Band Boosters will be sponsoring its fall fundraiser: the Entertainment Book Sale. Students in 5th through 12th grade band are being asked to participate.This year’s Entertainment campaign will kick off on Monday, August 26th and will end on Tuesday September 24th.
During the sale kick off, each student will receive one Entertainment Book valued at $25. You are responsible for purchasing, selling, or returning this book in good condition. If you do not plan to sell the book, please return it to Mr. Young or Mr. Krichbaum by September 3rd. When you sell your book, you may get another book to sell from the band directors at any time. All money should be collected when orders are taken! If your sample book is returned damaged you will be responsible for the cost of the book which is $25, so please take extreme care with your book!
Please let your customer know that checks and cash are both accepted. Checks should be made payable to AWBB.
The Entertainment Discount Book is available for almost any city. Out of town books are priced differently for each city and are available to purchase online. You can also purchase Toledo books online at Entertainment’s website. Please see the insert in your kit for details. The Anthony Wayne group I.D. for purchasing on line is #369322.
As an incentive for selling, the Anthony Wayne Band Boosters and the Entertainment Company will be giving away multiple prizes. The top seller for all schools will receive four (4) one day passes to Kalahari in Sandusky, OH. The top sellers in each building will receive a $25 iTunes gift card, 2nd place will receive a $15 Subway gift card (generously donated by the Torres Family & Whitehouse Subway) and 3rd place will receive a $10 Cold Stone gift card. We are offering a candy incentive to any student that sells and returns cash/check by September 3.
The Entertainment Book has many great coupons for local stores and restaurants, and has become one of the Anthony Wayne Band’s most successful fundraisers. It represents a significant amount of the band booster’s budget and provides additional funds used for trips, awards, the purchase of instruments, band uniforms, and other items. As the cost has been reduced, we need to sell even more to meet our goals.
